One World One Heart Event

Welcome to Seven Underfoot blog...
I am listing today for my daughter Melanie.... She had wanted to participate in the Event this year, but last night her house burnt to the ground and she lost everything she owned, even her two cats.  No one was home, Melanie was at work and the kids were with their grandmother, we are thankful that no one got hurt. Melanie had talked about this event and wanted to do a listing, but her items were lost in the fire. So I thought I would set up my site for her.  Bonnie also has two blogs participating this year 566 & 567 and she has offered a doorprize so Melanie had something to offer you for stopping by.
Melanie's blog "Oh the Drama"  is about her family, her animals  and her cross stitching. A lot of the items she stitches are for The World of Charity Stitcher Yahoo Group.  Bonnie is one of the quilters for the group and I just keep them in supplies.
Melanie's door prize will be this Lavender Sachet....
just leave a comment to be entered.

Bonnie had giveaways for CSN Gift Cards on her Southern Style and Nanbon's Corner Blogs... stop by and enter those contests too...

One World, One Heart

Thanks for visiting..

I am amazed at how many of these wonderful bloggers have offered to send Mel a card of encouragement, A special Thank You to all of you...  If any one would like to send a card to Mel, leave me a message and  I will be happy to send you our address...

  15. Please send my best wishes for your daughter and her family, and I am sorry about the loss of her furbabies.

We had a house fire in June, but luckily it was contained to one room, no one was hurt, and we only lost a few "irreplaceables" everything else is replaceable. Even our cats were out.

I am keeping a good thought, adding prayers, lighting a candle, and sending out positive, and calming energy.

I would love to win a lavendar sachet, and please tell her or you can do it for her, visit me at #209.

Thanks for your visit to my blog, I really appreciate you stopping by. This is so lovely of you to do this for Melanie and for Bonnie to have a gift for your visitors. I will go over to Bonnie's blogs and leave a message for her too.
Would you please come back to my blog, #9 on the list and leave me another message with your email addy or if you scroll down my side bar, you will see my email link. I would like to talk to you about sending something along to Melanie anyway. But thankfully they were all away and not hurt or even there to visually see what was happening.

I am so sorry for the loss of their beloved kitties.

I hope Melanie can get her blog going again soon. "Oh the Drama" will have a lot more to talk about now! It will be her therapy so I hope you encourage her to continue as soon as she's able. I pray for this to be put swiftly behind her and keep on keepin' on.

  103. I feel some of your pain...I lost part of my home to water 2 years ago...it seemed the hardest part was the insurance part of it. My thoughts and good energy are sent your way for the whole family. The hard work that you put into this will be a out of what has happened. It doesn't seem as so but time heals some how it does. If I were closer I would be there to help...

  106. Hi,
First, thank you for stopping by my blog ... I wanted to say how much I wish for things to be Ok after this fire and that it is so good to hear that everyone is safe.
I also wanted to ask if it is possible that the banner on this blog can be attributed the 101st Airbourne Division (Screaming Eagles)? I have an interest in the group from many years ago and wondered if that was the case.
I am wishing all the very best,

  110. Forget the door prize. I think we all should send something to Melanie. I know I will be. At a time like this I just want you to know how we feel your pain. I remember reading about an artist that lost years of art journals in a fire. I cried for her, I couldn't comprehend loosing everything I had ever created. I know we can't replace her things. Maybe we could share our art to encourage Melanie to create again.

  112. Hello and greetings from Virginia. I am so terribly sorry to hear of such a tragic event. Thankfully your daughter and grandkids were not there and are ok. I am, however, so sorry to hear about the two cats. I know how pets can feel like a big part of the family.

I would love for you to hop on over to my blog for a visit if you get a chance. I am #78 on the OWOH participant list.

  113. I cannot even imagine losing everything in a fire. I always think I should make a point to make a get up and go bag - like what would you take if you had a moment to react. But we tend to like to think that it won't happen - and then what if it happens when nobody is home! Horrible - please give your daughter my condolences. :(
